Like so many other small businesses in the US, we've been profoundly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. For the foreseeable future, our doors here at the beach will remain closed, but our mission hasn't changed. We're working on innovative ways to gather, share resources, and nurture writers online.

Westport Lighthouse Writers Retreat is perched on the stunning Pacific Coast in Washington State adjacent to Westport Light State Park, where the sea air is clean, the waves are wild, and there's no such thing as writer's block. We host small group intensives with stellar guest faculty and solo retreats tailored to the needs of the individual author. Our goal is to provide everything you need to take your manuscript to the next level: expert editorial guidance, creative career coaching, home cooked meals, lovely accommodations, soul-feeding sea air, and just the right mix of mollycoddling/kick-in-the-pants.
